Patriot Herculean + H MAX Series Articulating Crane Drop with Hose Reel - Ø8'' /10'' /12'' /14'' Hoses

The Patriot Herculean + H MAX Series Articulating Crane Drop with Hose Reel (Model 14-073) is purpose-built to capture airborne contaminants directly at the source—before they can be inhaled by the operator or nearby personnel. Featuring a precision-engineered hood or nozzle, a large-diameter retractable hose, and a robust articulating boom, the system delivers near-total containment of exhaust, dust, and vapors right at the point of emission.
FUNCTION
Motorized booms and hose retractors enable rapid deployment of the capture system to the emission zone. Once in place, contaminants are intercepted instantly upon release, ensuring immediate and effective capture. Engineered for industrial performance, the unit supports airflow rates up to 7000 CFM and velocities reaching 7500 FPM (yes, you read that correctly).

The articulating crane arm extends over 45 feet, offering full access to all sides of a vehicle. When not in use, it folds cleanly against the wall to maintain a clutter-free workspace.
CONSTRUCTION
The H-MAX boom and Herculian Boom are fabricated from powder-coated and galvanized steel, with ball-bearing articulation at each pivot and integrated disc-brake friction locks for precise positioning. Each joint provides 180° rotation. The 14" hose reel assembly is constructed from heavy-gauge (10–18 ga) galvanized steel and houses a high-torque 120V Centris motor rated at 200 N·m.

Drawing a maximum of 790 Watts at 6.6 amps, the motor enables 12 full rotations of hose. The drum is supported by sealed bearings on the motor side and a laser-cut Teflon bearing on the duct side, ensuring smooth retraction and long service life with minimal maintenance
