FLEXI Extraction Arms offer an effective solution for capturing low-flow fumes and dust at their source, safely directing them away from users and expelling them into the atmosphere.

Available from 5'-17' total length. 6.5'' & 8''Ø hose. Typical flowrate of 650 CFM on 6.5'' hose to 1000 CFM on 8'' hose.

FLEXI Extraction Arms are delivered 'ready to install' with an included wall bracket for immediate setup.

Also commonly referred to as: Snorkel, Elephant Trunk, Smoke Eater, Fume Arm, Capture Arm, & Suction Arms.

FUNCTION

FLEXI Extraction Arms are ideal for use in garages and repair shops, offering versatile coverage of fume, dust, and gas sources at any angle, thanks to the arm's flexible design.

FLEXI Extraction Arms are also capable of supporting hoses for high-temperature applications, such as vehicle exhaust and welding fumes, withstanding temperatures up to 700ºF. Optional components include:

CONSTRUCTION

Internal support structure constructed from mild steel tubing, featuring three spring-assisted joints to ensure precise counterbalancing of the extractor's inner and outer arms.
The FLEXI Extraction Arm is equipped with a black baked-on enamel steel hood designed for optimized airflow, a ring handle, an integrated damper, and a black baked-on enamel wall bracket.
Our extraction arm is supported by a wall-mounted bracket with a dual-hinge, spring-loaded mechanism, featuring a built-in damper for smooth adjustment and secure positioning.
The extraction arm comes in lengths with a range from 7 feet to a maximum length of 17 feet, allowing for sources that may be upstream or downstream to be covered and have the fumes, dust, or gases captured.

***The P-149 and P-152 fans mount directly to the wall bracket of the arm***
