Mist Collectors
Mist Collectors are for a variety of mist producing applications such as: CNC Machining and Coldheading Applications. These filters are "SELF-DRAINING" and it is important that the amount of dust being captured by these systems does not exceed more than 5% of the total extracted pollutant. Mobi-oil is an easy to use, portable filter that extracts oil & coolant mist from lathes, milling machines, drill presses and other similar processes.
This filter comes complete with a self-supporting extraction arm (7’ or 10’) with a simple to position extraction hood that allows the collection and filtration of mists and liquids, “at-source” before they have a chance to escape into the workplace. The collected contaminants are filtered by a series of specifically designed filters that allow the cleaned air to be returned back to the facility and the mist & liquids to drain into one (1) of two plastic containers. The collected liquids can then be reused in the machining process.

The Model MP4 is designed for single-unit metalworking applications. It produces from 475 CFM with 95% filtration efficiency. It features a 1" aluminum mesh pre-filter, a Mist-Plus main filter, and a 3/4 HP BI blower TEFC motor. It includes the new removal bottom sump with 1.5" drain, mounting angles to hang or surface mount, and a 6" bottom inlet only. For side, back or front inlet see INLET PLENUM.

The NOMEX© filter boasts a high degree of separation… When used for oil mists the Nomex boasts a 95% efficiency on oil mists and up to 99.9% of particulates. The Nomex is also well suited to handle Gas Phase applications with the use of activated media modules. The oil mist filters are considered "life-time" that last a minimum of 5 years while the activated media needs to be changed out (Refilled) when the media becomes saturated.

Oil mist laden air flows through the inlet into the bottom of the unit where it turns 90 degrees. The air goes upward through the impinger, then the mesh prefilter, and finally through the special oil mist bag. Clean air is then discharged at the top of the unit. Oil drains out the bottom of the unit.
