Function:

The Mobi-Oil is a mobile extractor-filter developed for the removal of coolant mist, emulsion mist, and light oil mist generated during machining. It is intended for point-of-source use, allowing the operator to place the hood directly near the mist generation area so airborne contaminants are captured before they spread into the surrounding work zone. It is particularly suited for applications where fixed ducting is not ideal and where several machines may need flexible, shared extraction coverage.

In operation, the unit is rolled to the machine, connected to power, and used with a Flexi extraction arm so the hood can be positioned exactly where mist is released. Cleaned air is discharged upward, while separated liquid is directed into onboard collection containers. When one container becomes full, the operator can switch the quick-connect hose to the second container to keep production moving with minimal interruption.

The unit is available as a 1.5 HP, 115V / 60 Hz portable mist collection system and can be paired with either a 2m or 3m diameter 160mm Flexi extraction arm depending on reach requirements and machine layout. The arm is designed to give the operator flexible hood positioning at the source so mist can be captured efficiently across a range of machining setups.
