R1- Portable VE for Diesel trucks & Heavy Equipment

The P2D2-R1 is a self-contained portable exhaust capture system designed to remove harmful diesel and gasoline fumes directly at the source — whether from tailpipe or stack exhausts. It provides a complete plug-and-play solution for vehicle maintenance facilities, garages, and service stations where installing fixed ducting or overhead extraction systems is not feasible.

Operators can use the included 10' of 6" (150 mm) diameter hose and tailpipe nozzle with vise-grip clamp to securely connect to under-carriage exhaust outlets. For vehicles equipped with vertical stacks, the same nozzle can be quickly attached to the “candy-cane” style stack adapter and positioned using the telescoping pole — allowing efficient fume capture from elevated exhaust points without ladders or tools.

Mounted on a durable rolling base with locking casters, the integrated 1.5 HP, 115 V/1/60 Hz fan delivers up to 1,150 CFM of airflow through the high-temperature hose assembly. A motor starter with overload protection ensures safe operation from any standard outlet, while onboard storage keeps all hoses and adapters organized and ready for immediate use.

The system ships complete and ready to operate, including:

• 10' of 6" (150 mm) Ø inlet hose with vise-grip tailpipe nozzle
• 6" ? 10" (250 mm) “candy-cane” style stack adapter with telescopic positioning pole

Optional accessories include an 8" garage door duct kit for venting exhaust through or under a door when operating indoors.

The P2D2-R1 features a heavy-duty, powder-coated steel Base plate and a direct-drive 1.5 HP (1,100 W) centrifugal fan producing 1,150 CFM at free air. The NEMA 4 motor control enclosure includes a start/stop switch with integrated overload protection set at 11.5 A for operator safety. Both the inlet and exhaust hoses are constructed from reinforced high-temperature silicone (rated 600 °F, optional 850 °F) with a steel wire helix for durability. The telescoping support pole allows precise positioning of the stack adapter up to typical truck exhaust height, while the cart’s locking casters and compact footprint ensure stable operation and easy storage.

All components are field-serviceable and designed for long-term shop use, with built-in hose storage and corrosion-resistant finishes suited to harsh maintenance environments.
