Polijet - Downdraft Table with cartridge filters

The Polijet DF downdraft tables capture and filter welding fumes, grinding dust, and metal smoke directly at the source. At 60 Hz, the series delivers up to 4,116 m³/h (~2,420 CFM) of airflow with integrated pulse-jet, self-cleaning cartridge filters for steady performance in continuous-duty fabrication environments. Contaminants are contained immediately at the work surface to protect operators and keep nearby areas clean
FUNCTION
The Polijet DF draws polluted air downward through the perforated work surface, suppressing sparks and collecting debris in dedicated drawers. Fumes and dust are directed into cartridge filters for efficient capture, with clean air exhausted from the top outlet back to the workspace or into ductwork.

The integrated filter cleaning system uses compressed air pulses controlled by an economizer to maintain airflow and extend filter life. Dust is collected in removable drawers ranging up to 17.2 US gal, making disposal clean and safe.

The Polijet DF is available in three widths — 59 in (1500 mm), 79 in (2000 mm), and 98 in (2500 mm) — with airflow capacities of ~1,730 CFM, ~2,080 CFM, and ~2,420 CFM respectively.

CONSTRUCTION
  • Structure: Heavy-duty steel cabinet built for negative pressure operation, with IP54 electrical protection
  • Filtration: Cartridge filters (surface area up to 132 m²) in Teflon-coated polyester or cellulose, with metal mesh pre-filters for spark interception
  • Cleaning system: Pulse-jet compressed air with integrated tank, solenoid valves, and economizer controls; requires 4–7 bar (~58–101 psi) clean dry air
  • Spark safety: Spark-suppression mesh and safety grid on fan inlet
  • Dust drawers: 10.3 US gal (1500), 13.7 US gal (2000), 17.2 US gal (2500)
