Precoater
The IVEC PreCoat System is a fully automated filter protection system designed to extend filter life, reduce energy consumption, and maintain optimal performance in industrial dust collection and filtration systems. By applying a precise pre-coat layer to filter media, it prevents sticky, oily, or fine particulate from clogging filter pores — keeping air moving freely and filters operating at peak efficiency.

By creating a sacrificial barrier on filter surfaces, pre-coating prevents direct contact between captured contaminants and the filter media. This process reduces filter loading, minimizes energy draw, and significantly extends filter lifespan — especially in environments with heavy oil mist, smoke, or fine particulate concentrations.
The system can be configured for various dust collector models and ducting networks, and operates in coordination with IVEC Command control software for data logging, predictive maintenance, and optimization of filter cleaning cycles.

CONSTRUCTION
The IVEC PreCoat System is built from industrial-grade components, including a steel hopper with an integrated feed auger, pneumatic injection system, and precise mechanical metering controls. All components are powder-coated for corrosion resistance and long service life. The system interfaces directly with the collector inlet ductwork to evenly distribute pre-coat material before entering the filtration chamber.
When combined with IVEC Command, operators can monitor air pressure differential, flow rates, and pre-coat application metrics remotely via a desktop or smart device. The control panel enclosure is NEMA-rated and compatible with IVEC’s intelligent network controls for remote system management.
