Overview: 

Lev-co is seeking a US Sales Agent, who will be responsible for selling Lev-co Manufacturing products based on the client or Lev-co engineers’ specifications, while maintaining a high level of organization in Lev-co’s organization.

Lev-co is a company that puts quality first since it was established more than 20 years ago. With more customers focusing on clean air, the demand for our products is increasing so we are looking to add new members to our team. You will be required to perform a wide range of duties on a day-to-day basis. Being a fast-paced job, you are required to be able to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.

The US Sales Agent will work in many industries, such as:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering and sales support to our internal and external customers. EG: End-users, consulting engineers, Industrial Hygienists, facility managers, and other internal departments.
  • Recommend Air Purification solutions that meet customer needs and requirements. Develop sales proposals using Lev-Co’s web-based quote generation, follow-up and order processing system.
  • Select or suggest alternative Lev-co products to meet customer specifications for the intended use.
  • Work with Lev-co’s team of design engineers & SMEs to create simulations of the proposed ventilation solution. (ANSYS CFD and Solid Works 3D modelling)
  • Communicate and drive the design criteria required to meet the client’s application-specific criteria.
  • Solve engineering design problems that result in improved air quality, ROI, improved end-user safety, increased quality, and/or improved productivity.
  • Ask & answer design and engineering questions about Lev-co’s engineering controls (products) and their role in controlling airborne hazards in the workplace.
  • Make presentations to engineering firms that detail the important design criteria required to meet relevant OSHA, ACGIH and ASHRAE recommendations and requirements.
  • Assure that the online forms for new orders are complete, accurate and communicates all technical information needed to support that order downstream order fulfillment.
  • Evaluate and recommend the pricing on proposals utilizing the data stored in Lev-co’s database and pricing from related sub-contractors.
  • Acquire product expertise and monitor changes in assigned areas of specialization for markets, products, or applications.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external customers that result in mutually profitable business opportunities and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor others in sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • University or College degree in mechanical engineering OR 10 years in related HVAC or Industrial ventilation sales and design
  • Sales and engineering experience.
  • Numerous skill building educational experiences in both the technical and sales aspects of the ventilation industry
  • At least 4 years experience in a related field.
  • Interpersonal skills and experience in consultative selling to find solutions involving the application of complex mechanical equipment like we sell.
